According to Marsha Colbert, owner of The Cat's Pause, vacationing cat owners can now leave their cats in a comfortable environment that caters strictly to their needs. The Cat's Pause provides cats with spacious living quarters, twice daily feedings, and access to a recreation room with a television. Grooming is available upon request. Our boutique in the front of the store has specialty merchandise for cat lovers. |

| The suites
are made entirely of formica and are quite spacious. They range in price
from $14.00 per night for the Houstonian Suite to $35.00 per night
for the Governor's Mansion. Each suite has a place for separate
instructions from the owner for the cat's personal needs. In addition to
the comfortable suites, the cats are allowed to use the play room.
The hair styling ranges from a "cape cod" cut to an elaborate "lion" cut. After the hair style, each cat is bathed and then blow dried to look sleek or fluffy. Our boutique provides a variety of specialty cat items for the most eclectic cat owner. |

It is the only type of boutique of its kind in the Houston area and welcomes all cat lovers. |
